The main responsibilities of the Advocacy Committee are:

  1. Identify or develop advocacy projects in line with Zonta International’s mission.
  2. Propose advocacy projects and activities to the board for recommendation to the membership.
  3. Establish a budget for all advocacy projects for approval by the board.
  4. Coordinate execution of the club’s advocacy projects.
  5. Advocate to influence laws and attitudes that affect women with the goal of assisting women to develop their full potential.

The main responsibilities of the Membership Committee are:

  1. Identify or develop membership/fellowship projects to promote camaraderie.
  2. Propose membership/fellowship events and activities to the board for recommendation to the membership.
  3. Establish a budget for all membership/fellowship events for approval by the board.
  4. Coordinate execution of the club’s membership/fellowship activities.
  5. Define goals for recruiting new members and monitor progress towards those goals.

The main responsibilities of the Service Committee are:

  1. Identify or develop service projects in line with Zonta International’s mission.
  2. Propose service projects and activities to the board for recommendation to the membership.
  3. Establish a budget for all service projects for approval by the board.
  4. Coordinate execution of the club’s service projects.
  5. Identify scholarship nominees for the Zonta International scholarships.

The main responsibilities of the Fundraising Committee are:

  1. Identify and plan fundraising activities and events to generate revenue for service and advocacy projects.
  2. Prepare a budget for each event and activity for approval by the board.
  3. Promote, organize and ensure participation members in all fundraisers.
  4. Schedule fundraising committee meetings as needed.
  5. Prepare a project plan (outlining the steps, timeline, expenses and revenue) for all projects and provide to the board.
